Walking with God In my Intuition Man is a tripartite being This is both a divine declaration as well a Spiritual revelation. I say this because it is not a view held by science or man in his unregenerate condition. The scriptures tell us that man has three distinct and separate realms to his makeup. They are Spirit, Soul, and body these are separate but closely interrelated. What I mean by this is that they interact in a very complex way, but each one has its own unique functions and capabilities. To clarify the term revelation of divine revelation it simply means a truth revealed by God about both Himself and man. It means that God has shed light on subjects that we could not other wise understand. In other words God in Christ by His own gracious Spirit shows us not only what He is like but what we are like. Why do so many reject these revelations of God? We can find the answer in John 3: 19,20 19. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Also another reason was given by Paul in his letter to the church a Corinth. 1Chor 2: 9-10. 9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Our spiritual Intuition is the unique capacity given by God Himself to Know God, to be acutely and intensely aware of God. Spiritual intuition tells me that God is here and I am in His presence. Hebrews 11: 6 says this 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Tripartite man and how he relates to God Spirit: 1. Intuition; The capacity to know God 2. Conscience: The capacity to see God 3. Communion with God Soul 1. Emotions: The capacity to feel and interact with others 2. Will: The capacity to decide, choose, and determine. 3. Drives: The capacity to exercise instincts. Body 1. Desires: The capacity for appetites and passions. 2. Daily Habits the capacity for daily conduct. The Nature of Spirit The Lord Himself tells us that God is spirit and those that worship Him (commune and enjoy His company) must do so in spirit and truth. John 4: 24 24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. This reveals to us that we have the capacity to know Him in Spirit. Not only is God a Spirit but so is Satan. The hosts of angels are ministering spirits ordained of God for special service. Demons are evil spirits. And every man has a spirit, which is declared by God to be dead, by virtue of the fact that it is not alive to God, or quicken by influence and touch of His spirit.. What it means to know God It is possible for one to spend their entire life studying or discussing a historical God or a doctrinal God or researching and seeking for the historical Jesus or an ethical Jesus yet never come to know Him in spirit or truth. This was the problem facing Nicodemus who was a brilliant Old Testament scholar, steeped in the Scriptures who was considered a master rabbi. He knew all about God yet he had never come alive in his spirit. John 3: 6,7 6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3: 10,11 10. Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. This knowing, that our Lord spoke about not only eluded and bewildered Nicodemus but still baffles most people today, even preachers, Teachers, and Lay people bandy about such phrases as “Knowing God”, “Being born again,” “walking in the spirit” without comprehending the enormous implications of these ideas. Often these Ideas are simply pious-sounding phrases that are used to spread a veneer of spirituality over a life that maybe alive in many ways but is still very, very dead to God. If I am alive to God then I must be dead to the world. ‘If I am to walk with God I must find as Paul said to the Athenians in Acts 17: 27,28 27. That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28. For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. As we open our spirits to Him, we draw spiritual sustenance from Him, He literally becomes our life. As we allow His spirit to actually enter our spirits He does come in to share our life with us. Revelation 3 20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. |

Dr Ronald Shultz
I came to the great state of Texas from the great state of South Carolina after having been educated in the great state of North Carolina. While in the Carolinas and traveling to Texas through, lest any be offended, four other great states I found something more common than kudzu though less common than grits. Baptist hospitals seemed to be everywhere. I admit that since I am a Baptist and I work at a hospital they may have just stood out because of that, but there were quite a few around to stand out. Now, how much Baptist is left in them since they were built, I do not know. There are colleges once built or at least heavily funded by Baptists that should remove Baptist from their name since they teach things contrary to Christianity let alone Baptist distinctives. Therefore, there may be some Baptist hospitals that perform abortions, give birth control to teenagers without parental knowledge and other non-Baptistic practices. However, it is good that Baptists saw a need and endeavored to fulfill that need in the name of Christ. Hospitals fulfill a multitude of functions from outpatient care to short and long term inpatient care. They have many services and personnel to treat a patient no matter what their illness might be as well as to give support and education to loved ones of the patients. They have many rooms. No matter what the primary specialty of a hospital they all have some ability to provide emergency care. They have emergency rooms or ERs. I am not sure who it was, but one of my mentors spoke often of the Church as being a hospital. This concept goes along with Christ’s teaching that the sick need a physician not the healthy. (Mark 2:17,Luke 5:31) Sin is a sexually transmitted terminal disease. Non-Christians suffer heavily from its effects. Christians still carry it in remission, but can have severe outbreaks of the disease suffering great pain and heartbreak until repentance, confession and the filling of the Holy Spirit cleanses wounds and forces it back into remission. The Non-Christian will suffer two deaths from the disease. While it is not spiritually deadly for the Christian, it can wreak havoc and rob him of the fellowship and blessings he so desperately needs in this world. The complete cure will come when we cross over into glory be that by the undertaker or the upper taker. Therefore the church is really a hospital and to be an effective one it needs several ERs. Indeed, it should never open its doors unless it has an Emmanuel Room. If God is not present, it is a morgue not a hospital. Unless the Great Physician is in charge there will be no healing of soul, body, spirit, or emotions. The building may be dedicated to Him. There may be much talk about Him and His prowess amidst great public relations campaigns to attract visitors. However, if He is not present it is only talk and a vain flurry of activity.

1 Timothy 2:1-3
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour."

Thought of the Day
I live by the Power of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is He that has given to me the power to live victoriously. He has freed me from the bondage of sin and has set me free form the powers of Hell, He has given me victory over death Hell and the Grave. I have surrendered to Him my will and my life and I have lived a fuller life for it.So each day I will die to self, in order to live for Him. For while I was yet a sinner and a enemy of God, Christ died for me that my sins might be forgiven and I might restored to fellowship with God.
No greater gift has ever been given to mortal man, that God should give His best to redeem me from my worst. Let me now live for Christ as He died for me, crucifying the flesh and my will that each day I can be more like Him.
